Take a Deep Breath

Hold it for four seconds. Breathe out for four seconds.

Repeat until you are calm.

And then watch this.

The last section of the first movement is just two chords. The notes alternate between C#Minor, which is the tonic, and C Diminished, which is the vii chord. Isn’t it incredibly simple and perfect?

When I’m having a rough day I put this song on repeat in my music player, and it blows away all of the cobwebs. And then I listen to some Eric Burdon and the Animals and everything is all right again. Try it sometime.
