When I was just a young pup, one of my siblings brought home this album. It was the only album recorded by this group, but some of the members went on to work with some of the biggest names in music.
(For those of you born after 1998, when I was a kid we had these things called “Albums.” They were black, circular, and much larger than CD’s. They had circular grooves in them that made music when you put them on a “turntable.”)
It was the second band to record using 16-track technology, the first being Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bookends” (another amazing album).
It has been categorized as “Sunshine Pop” but I think it is in its own category. I have never heard anything quite like it, and I still love it. Maybe you will too.
